5My 3 year old loves itSep 15, 2007
By San Francisco Dad
My 3 year old son loves this toy. When he steers, the road turns so it really looks like he's driving the car, and he doesn't have the frustration of accidentally turning into things, not going where he wants, etc. It constantly shows letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and then occasionally tests him on what he's seen. It's kind of like Sesame Street in that he's seeing the educational stuff, but everything else that is going on is just fun to watch. I've gotten a kick myself out of a lot of the animations, they're pretty funny. The other day I had a group of two 3 year olds and two 6 year olds taking turns and laughing about what they were seeing.

5My disabled grandson loved this toyJul 22, 2008
By The Flower Girl
My grandson is 9 and developmentally disabled his minds age is about 2 or 3, he loves to sit in my car seat and act like he's driving so I though it would be perfect for him,I thought the toy was very good to help with his motor skills and and other lacking skills, and also to entertain him away from just watching TV and listening to the music he loves. He doesn't like to play with toys but he liked playing with this one. I think any child would get a kick out of it, I like it. I would buy it again.

1Let DownSep 03, 2007
By EdHopper "Painter"
Just bought this toy at Wally World and it's a complete let down. The age range states 3+ but should be more for 6mos-18mos instead. The only real functionality this game has is forward and reverse and it's slow. There is no speed control and reverse seems to be faster than forward. No funtionality to let you decide what location you want to drive in -- always starts in Winter. The steering is basically non-functional. It moves the "car" a bit from side to side but it will not let you go off the roadway so this does little in the way of controlling the car.

Big let down considering the age range that this product is for. At 3+ I would have expected a much more interactive toy.

It's going back to the store.

5Cute for kidsJan 07, 2008

My son is 2 years old and he loves it! The concept of driving and learning at the same time is very appealing, and for the price, can't beat it.

3Pass on this oneJan 02, 2008
By Mom_to_4_boys "Mom_to_4_boys"
I purchased this for my 3 yr old son. I was very disappointed. He loved it, for about 5 minutes, then asked me to put it away. The graphics are sub par. I was not happy that Little Tikes threw in lots of advertising for their other toys all along the road in the game on the billboards. The only thing the player can really do is turn it on and then either go backward or forward, not much else. My son was turning the wheel a lot, but I think the game just automatically goes where it's programmed to on the road, stops when it should on it's own and so it. Really not all that interactive at all. Very disappointed with this toy. I think the age rating should be much lower, this is more for a 12m old.
