only works with more airplane trackJan 04, 2009
By L. Ake Overall, the Geotrax toy line is great. However, this product is seriously flawwed. When put together according to the instructions, the plane gets stuck in not one but two places. This is due to the bend in the track. This cannot be corrected without adding more track which will ease the bends.
The other reviews are a little one sided. One reviewer purchased all three plane sets together and so had plenty of track. Another gave it 5 stars without even having seen it together.
My recommendation for this product is to only buy it if you are going to buy one of the other airplane tracks too. Otherwise, it will be wasted money.

UnhappyNov 17, 2009
By Tree I also will be returning this toy. I was disappointed immediately when I placed the airplane on the track. It would fly smoothly under the bridge, but when it reached a turn it would get stuck and made a terribly annoying clicking noise. There were 3 spots on the track where it would get stuck.

Fly By BridgeDec 26, 2008
By GeoTrax Dad
"GeoTrax Dad"
This is one of the newest GeoTrax kits offered by Fisher Price. The blue GeoAir track seems to be durable and we have not had any problems. It is too bad that this kit doesn't come with an airplane (you have to buy airplane separately).
One disadvantage is that the pillars that the bridge sits on have a keying mechanism that prevents using standard stanchion pillars (from Elevation Track Pack kits). Using stanchion pillars would allow the bridge to be raised two or three levels above ground level (bridge usually sits one level above ground level). Also the base of the Fly By Bridge pillars have a large footprint, so it reduces the possibilities of track placement beneath the bridge. Still, this kit is a fun one and a great addition to the GeoTrax product family.
If you want or need track layout ideas, there are four track layout manuals on eBay. The newest one (volume 7) uses the Fly By Bridge, and all ten layouts fit on the KidKraft train table (48" x 33" inner dimensions). You can find the manuals by searching on eBay for "geotrax track layout manual".

It should be pulled from the shelvesDec 27, 2009
By Karen Gregory This toy does not work. The bends on the inside of the loop are too sharp and the airplane - sold seperately - stands still and clicks until it is manually pushed around. No fun at all. A big expensive dissapointment.

Horrible value, doesn't include pieces on the pictureDec 26, 2009

As with most GeoTrax sets, we soon found that they do NOT include the main pieces needed. Beware! You are provided with the plane track, however no plane. So, essentially you are forced to go out and buy the plane on top of this set. By the time you add all of this up, you are better off going with legos or some other toy with more value.
