4Fisher-Price Play n' Go SchoolJan 19, 2010
Cute toy. My granddaughter enjoys it, especially being able to put everything away in the "lunch box."

4Perfect just perfect toyJan 03, 2010
I love it and I will recommend it to anyone who has a 2 1/2 year old and up. My child likes it and we used it when we travel as a travel toy because it has a lunch box. There are not many pieces and this is good because you wont loose them or miss place also the size is good for kids. Now , my kid stopped playing with it after I got the others new little people toys as the bus and blocks that are in the market.

4cute!Jan 02, 2010
I bought this toy because I had the original one as a child. As simple as it is, my daughter (14 months) LOVES this toy. She loves taking the people out and putting them back in, and placing them into the merry go round playground thingy. My older daughter is disappointed that they don't actually fit into the playhouse for playig school. I'm happy with this purchase anyway...whatever keeps my 1 year old busy! :)

3Looks ok but sure isn't what I was expecting!Dec 31, 2009
My 7 year old LOVED the Little People toys when he was a toddler. So I did not hesitate to order this toy for the 2 year old next door. But it has changed so much you wouldn't even know it was Little People. The characters are different, the style is different. I am extremely disappointed as Fisher-PRice really had something special!

3Lacks the "house" features that we all loved as kidsDec 27, 2009
The Little People -- a nice size, satisfying to hold, and fun to play with. Nicely put together, and more interesting to look at and play with than the "modern" Little People, which are just one piece of injection-molded plastic (or some such thing). One complaint, however, is that the Dog is a little bit too big and doesn't fit as easily into the merry-go-round or chairs.

The chair, desk, and merry-go-round -- cute, sturdy, and simple.

The schoolhouse (box) -- This is the major flaw of this set. The big draw of the Fisher Price sets that a lot of us played with as kids was that you could place the figures in the house/barn/etc. and really be drawn into the imaginary world of these little people. You could open and close the door, look into the windows, and so on. Probably as a cost-saving measure, this school set is designed so that the schoolhouse is a hinged box that doesn't have any real doors or windows, or any details inside the schoolhouse such as a blackboard.

Fisher Price really missed the boat here. I personally wouldn't have bought this toy; it was given as a gift to my 1-year-old. Unfortunately, I don't think he will be drawn to it as much as he would be to a better version of this set.
