Hours & Hours Of FunApr 01, 2010 Great fun for kids (and adults). The size of these are perfect for younger kids because they can put them together and take them apart easily. The best thing is that their imagination is the limit. Great, great fun.
lego duplo brick setMar 29, 2010 Good set of duplos. Good price for the quantity of duplos--better than any deal I could find at the stores.

NO WHEELS IN THIS SET!Mar 12, 2010 One of the pictures on amazon submitted by the same person (I'm only guessing he works at Kaplan) showed the wrong box! I bought this set because "Billy D" who submitted all the pictures showed the box with a car, and window on it! We need the wheels! My son is going to be disappointed... Billy D if you work for Kaplan - remove the picture of the box with the wheels and window! That's what we wanted and didn't get!
Good price for bulk duplo pieces though.
KinderKidsNov 30, 2009 I purchased the Legos for a kindergarten class where I aide. The students immediately took to them. It is amazing to see the structures created as the kids use the Legos as tools and materials to build visions from their minds. I am very happy to have so much impact from a "simple" purchase!
Creative Building Without Being a Choking HazardOct 28, 2009 Even though my son is 3 he still puts everything in his mouth and he has an unusually large (wide and deep)mouth. So regular legos are completely out of the question. When he was 2 I had to remove the smallest squares from the set, but now he plays with the complete set. Ocassionally I still find him trying to put the legos in his mouth, but for the most part he only builds things with them - parking spaces, hospitals, all types of buildings, architectural balancing acts, vehicles, etc. They are sturdy, colorful, durable and can be easily washed and sanitized without damage to the bricks. Also, Megablocks, while not a perfect fit, do fit fairly well with these duplo legos which allows my son to have a larger selection of bricks as well as the megablock theme toys (such as the Pixar cars and playsets) to play with. It would be nice if there were more than just 1 each of the narrow 1/2 inch x 2 inch rectangles as for some reason he just loves that shape. Otherwise, it's a great toy at a good price. (No need to pay more for fancy packaging when the only thing a year old cares about are the bricks. And honestly, how many of you still have the original container your child's 1st set of legos came in?)
