5amazing productApr 04, 2008

I am 9 and am still on legos. It took a lot of hours out of my day, but it is very fun. When you drop the door with a crash, the "boulder" rolls. Pull out the idol's stick piece, "rocks" fall down. I personally swich it with another piece, then take it out.

You can help them under the door, but you might have to move the boulder. You can pull out another stick, and some "knives" shoot out and you can push out the "swords". Overall, great.

5Fun for kidsApr 06, 2008
By TRFB
First of all, I think Legos are way to overpriced. Having said that, I think the sets are great. My 8 year old is really into all of the Indiana Jones & Star Wars playsets.

This temple escape is very cool. With all the elements of the first opening scene of the Raiders of the Lost Ark. The boulder is really cool as well as the idol and the darts and pit, swinging swords and the collapsing wall.

I recommend this for kids that are fans of the movies, or just want to play a set that has fixed elements in it. I think that Legos are very durable and very well put together. But they're just way too expensive.

5EXCELLENT - A Lot of FUN!!!Jun 22, 2008

My 10 year son and I put this together over a few days. It was a wonderful activity, and once it's assembled this set actually performs - add in some imagination and you've got great play. We're huge Indiana Jones fans, so this toy was all the better.

5Creativity StimulusDec 06, 2008
By Sheldon S. Wallace
Lego is great for the mini engineer in the family. Though he's built the temple only once, my just turned 7 seven-year-old has created innumerable variations of buildings and vehicles that are great exercise for his creativity.

4Neat Lego model kitMay 20, 2008
By H. Ramirez
This toy is fun for kids or makes a cute display for any geek. I fall into the latter. The kit displays my favorite sequence from Raiders of the Lost Ark that shows what Indy is all about. The set seems more expensive than it should be which is a problem with all Lego sets.

This set looks very neat but I'll take the opportunity to comment on how sad it is how these Lego kits are basically model sets complete with instruction manuals on where to put every piece. They have lost their original spirit of just being piles of blocks with no defined purpose for them but only your imagination to work with. Guess this is the only way they can make themselves more appealing in an age where videogames reign supreme(also by branching out to videogames too).
