Very nice and fun setJan 27, 2010

My son, who is two, loves this Lego set. He loves Duplo in general which I think is a great toy, but in particular for a kid that likes trains and animals this one is very nice. It is simple to put together, so he can do it with some directions I give him, and you can add other Duplo carts to make the train longer. The clown is also a nice character. I highly recommend this set. It is best if you have more Duplo, since there are very few pieces so there's not so much to build, but it's a great complement to the more "general" sets of lots of blocks but few "special" pieces, such as carts, characters, etc.

It is the perfect way to introduce Legos for young kids. It has a limited variety of parts included, only 9 blocks, but is just right for a young toddler and does allow for creative variations. And above all my son loves elephants so it was a easy choice.

This was really a nice set for the price- my son loves trains, and it has gotten a lot of play. Also, some of the other lego cars can attach to the back to make a longer train.

My 15 month old son received this as a Christmas gift and he and my 4 year old both LOVE it and play with it all the time. It is very cute and simple to put together. The umbrella is kind of annoying and difficult to put in the elephant's trunk, but the rest of the train works well. It is a PERFECT first lego set.

"too many books, not enough time"
Sent this to my grandson for his third birthday and my daughter-in-law tells me he plays with it constantly. It is his current "favorite" toy.
