Nice!May 18, 2010 Our twice a week exercise group has been using the Walk Away the Pounds 2 & 3 mile walks for months so we wanted to try something similar, but still different enough to give us some variety. This Walk/Jog DVD was the perfect choice! After the first time trying it the general comment was "That was good! I liked it!" It takes about a half-hour and you walk/jog about 2.5 miles, Leslie says. It's a nice workout & you get a good sweat in. There is one walker on the DVD who maintains a low-impact pace so there are options if you're not a jogger. It's very easy and fun to do. The sound has some issues in there a time or two--it seems muffled, but only for a few seconds. All in all, we'd recommend it as a nice addition to any exercise regimen.
Not my favorite Leslie...Nov 26, 2009 Walk and Jog is a 30 minute walking workout with jogging intervals thrown in. Perfect for those looking to add a little oomph and challenge to their walking routines.
This didn't quite work for me though, mainly because I am not a jogger, or a fan of high impact to begin with, but that's my own issue. I did appreciate the fact that Leslie had a low impact modifier (Mary Kay), I was able to follow her otherwise I would have been completely lost.
Even so, this workout was a bit frustrating for me, and a bit hard to follow. The pace was almost manic, very fast which is well...understandable for a jogging workout. Another reviewer hit it on the head, it just didn't flow very well.
Luckily for me, this routine is on one of my compilation DVDs so I didn't purchase on it's own. I would definitely recommend this for those who like higher impact moves, they look like fun. I have to stay away from high impact though, or keep it very limited. My knees talk back to me, plus I have a damaged achilles tendon so I need to be careful.
This looks like a hit with many others though so if you like a little walking and a little jogging, give this a try!
Simple yet effectiveAug 15, 2009 I love doing the Leslie Sansone walking workouts. I own a couple of her DVDs and I do them whenever I just want something easy but still get a good workout. I'm not a big jogger and I have exercise asthma which doesn't help. But the jogging in this routine is very light and easy to handle. And the jogging only comes in 2 minute incriments with Leslie's traditional power walking in between with moves that you will recognize from her other DVDs. I would recommend this DVD along with Leslie's Walk and Kick Power Series DVD to anyone who wants a fulfilling workout without learning a bunch of complicating steps.
good fast workoutJul 25, 2009 Like this dvd as I enjoy all of Leslie's pgms. HOWEVER, I found some of the moves in the boosts and the pace awkward. They just didn't flow right.
As usual, Leslie is very upbeat and encouraging. I love that about her!
I prefer The Big Burn over this one.

Very dissapointedJul 10, 2009 I have other workouts from Leslie Sansone. I have recommended them to my friends. This one in particular I thought was challenging. Not challenging at all. I didn't even sweat. Very short, not good.
