5Extra Darts for Recon and Longshot: A Great Value!Oct 19, 2009
By Kaiden Eterali
I recently purchased this package for my Nerf Recon CS-6. Overall it's an amazing value. It includes 30 darts which would cost you about $6/10 darts alone. In addition the clips are very helpful for a quick reload. I participate in a local game of Humans vs. Zombies and always keep three fully loaded clips on me. The "Flip Clip" is the only part of this bundle that is not so great. Darts fall out of clips easily when not in either the stock or loaded into the blaster itself, so suspending a clip upside down from it is a terrible idea. Overall it's a great value if you want some extra clips. If you're just looking for darts, get the 100 streamline dart ammo box for $25.

3Decent, the clips are useful but the joint piece doesn't hold under stress.Oct 23, 2009
By Ardell Klemme "servant of the Most High"
I bought three of these double clips for our nerf group and I would recommend it. I don't however recommend using the joint part. When making fast and sharp movements, the inertia causes the "bottom" clip to fly off of the joint making it useless for flipping. One solution is to epoxy or somehow "fuse" the 2 clips to the joint. The extra darts and the extra clips are WELL more than worth the purchase, however, and I highly recommend it!! Although, nothing compares to the drum clip that comes with the new raider! Even on a long shot or recon, that thing will turn any nerf clip system blaster into a near-automatic machine gun! These are excellent back-ups that can be used to great effect.

5Essential tool for cube warfareDec 16, 2009
By D. Brennan
There is NOTHING worse than being trapped behind enemy lines without any ammo, except maybe getting caught in an enemy cross-fire while having to re-load your clips.

My Nerf Longshot may be great at the distance shot, but sometimes you have to get in to the thick of things to solve long standing intra-office issues. In these cases, you want to go in to combat loaded for bear with enough ammo to penetrate the enemy front lines, accomplish your mission, and then to cover your escape.

That's where this product comes in handy. Using two of these kits, I can carry four clips in my longshot. That's 28 shots of ammo on-board!!! Fire 7, and you flip the clip over and be ready to fire in less than 4 seconds, allowing you to continue your awesome onslaught against your foes.

The design of the clip is very well done. If the clip connector were to grip the clips too strongly, there would be the possibility of breaking a more delicate part of the gun. If the clip does not grip strongly enough, your extra ammo could fall off, and be used by your opponents against you! These clips manage a perfect Goldilocks - just the right amount of grip.

More importantly, the gun just looks cooler with these double clips attached. Between the intimidating looks, and the ominous sound made when loading the next round, a Longshot with 4 clips is the ultimate in office warfare.

5WonderfulJan 23, 2010

1 star for education because it's a dart gun...maybe educating children on the importance of safety glasses?

This is a really cheap way to get a couple extra magazines and a bunch of darts for any clip-system gun.

I got these to go with my Raider CS-35, and I love them! They give the gun better balance than the giant drum magazine, and they let me stay in the fray a little longer when the drum is empty (which happens all too quickly with the Raider...) They also fit nicely in pants pockets so you can run around with them.

The "flip-clip" gimmick is just that, a gimmick. It's especially awkward on the Raider's side-mount magazine well. But it will make any gun more clumsy and you might drop a magazine as you try to shoot around cover.

Get it for the two extra magazines and 30 darts and be happy. The flip clip is nice if it works for you...but I don't like it.

I'm a 24 year old college student and having a blast with my nerf guns!

5Great Replacement ClipsJan 03, 2010
By D. Christensen "Jesus Freak"
I bought these clips today to use with my brand new Nerf N-Strike Raider Rapid Fire CS-35 Dart Blaster - Blue and it works great! I went in together on it with my brother; he took one, I took one. We haven't used the connector during a battle, but it seems like it would hold under a fair amount of stress. The thirty extra darts are invaluable. We split them up with our younger brother, to have ten apiece. Between the extra darts and the supplied darts that came with my gun, I was able to exactly fill up both clips (the drum that came with my Raider and the spare that I am reviewing). This is a must-buy for anyone who has a clip-system Nerf gun!
