I purchased this for my girls who LOVE to craft. I was a bit wary of how the finished project would hold together, but really liked the idea of not having to use a hot dangerous iron. My girls were more thrilled by the results than I was! Once the patterns were set in the templates and sprayed with water, it took quite some time for them to dry. Even when the top was dry to the touch, underneath was still damp and goopy. Mom had to help turn out the still fragile creations onto a plate so the template could be used for the next creation. After thorough drying, though, I must say this is quite durable. I had a hard time intentionally pulling apart the beads.
I thought my girls would be upset at the amount of time they took to dry, but amazingly, they said it was better than having to be nervous and careful around a hot iron (smart girls). Overall, this is a great beading project requiring minimal parental assistance (always supervise your children with small objects)

This is a pretty fun toy. I spend hours myself playing with it. Some people are picky when they say that they do not stick. Yes, after drying one side the other is probably going to be gooey, but after you dry the other side overnight, the stick together exceptionally well.
One thing i noticed was that i did not get the colors of Pixos they advertised on the front . Infact, I didnt get enough colors to fill each compartment. A pretty big disappointment; therefore, forcing me to give this product 4 stars.
Overall, this is a toy for older children(ages 6-11)and patience is required

I was a little nervous to purchase this because of several negative reviews but went ahead anyways. Pixos are great. My kids, 6 and 8, had a lot of fun with this. They loved the storage container, as did I, and everything fits inside when they are done. Had no problems with finished product holding together and didn't take long to dry, maybe 30 minutes. Getting more for Christmas =-)
