pretty mermaid designSep 02, 2009
By Anonymous in Canada These patterns are a favourite with my kids who have made probably 20 different versions of this mermaid with different colours. The refill only includes enough pixos to do one of each design.getting modern or crystal refills just gives more beads which is more helpful if you want to be creative. We also found out you can print off desgns from the pixos website and even design your own.

My kids and I are really enjoying Pixos. It does take patience and time to place the beads exactly where you want them (we use a pair of tweezers for mess ups). And it does take more than the stated ten minutes to dry; we sometimes leave them overnight for good measure. But when you see and remove the finished product, it is well worth it.
