 No smell and only $10 at Toys R USAug 30, 2010
Thanks to the recommendations of many on this list, I went to Toys R US and picked up this package for $10.00. I don't even think that was a sale price, just what they are chraging. The first thing I did was open the package and smell them. I didn't detect much of any type of odor. Perhaps the people who puchased these sets in teh past who said they had a bad smell got some that were part of some defective manufacturing process that is no longer in practice. My daughter enjoyes Scoot Doo quite a bit, so this kit was a hit. :-)

Buy these much cheaper at Toys R Us!!Jun 18, 2010
I bought these for a friend's child and when my own child couldn't stop talking about them, decided to get one for her. I decided to head over to Toys R Us and maybe get a comparable product. I paid $9.99 for the exact same thing!! On Amazon I paid $15.99 plus shipping, so $21.99!!!! I can't even believe it! The seller was Santa's Workshop and I recall seeing similarly over-priced items from that seller. Beware! Not a bargain at this price!!

I bought this toy for my grandson and he absolutely loves it. His mother said it is so durable - she cannot believe how well made this item is. Very good buy!

My daughter had been asking for this for a long time and they were all sold out.
I was so glad to find a set and at a reasonable price. She plays with them constantly and
they are a huge hit at the playschool she attends. We are still unable to find the
van however - and the van price seems terribly high so we have convinced her to use her
SUV from her dollhouse and let them ride in it! :)

Got this set for my 3 y/o daughter and she loves it! Figures are well detailed and with good quality. I'd definetely recommend this toy for all Scooby Doo's fans!
