My 7 year old daughter has had these for over a year and she loves them. The scent is still on them and they open and close fine. She likes to use them as bowling balls with her brother.
My little sister loves this!Dec 27, 2008
By Heather Lang I bought this furberry for my 5 year old sister for Christmas and she couldn't wait for it! Very cute product and the kids love it!

Shoddy and boring but kids love themDec 27, 2007
By Elizabeth K. Mckeown This is a pretty worthless toy as far as I can tell BUT my 3- and 5-year-olds would definitely disagree with me. They'd talked about furberries almost non-stop ever since they first saw the commercial and put them at the top of their Christmas lists. The reviews on this and other sites were pretty dismal but I went ahead and ordered the tabby and the blueberry bear for them anyway, mostly because I couldn't come up with a good explanation for why Santa wouldn't be bringing any. The Tabby didn't smell like anything even when we first opened it, my 5-year-old can't open it herself, and even when I do it for her, it collapses right away. It's not cuddly at all, (to keep the berry shape they must have to use molded plastic or something) and the stitching is already ripping around the neck. (In all fairness I should add that the blueberry bear does smell and doesn't collapse when I open it.) Despite all these things, both of my kids have kept their fur berries within arms-reach since opening them Christmas morning. I guess the main point of most toys is simply to make a kid happy, and the fur berries certainly did that, so I'll give them three stars. Overall, though- I'd avoid them unless you're really stuck. There are so many better stuffed animals out there.
