My 18 month old son absolutely adores these. Of course, he calls them 'trucks' because everything on wheels is a truck to him. He entertains himself endlessly with these things. We have them stashed in both cars (to play with on car trips), the diaper bag, and my purse. Not to mention the ones all over the house! :)
I love that the car body is kind of soft, which reduces the damage to the furniture in epic smashing sessions, and the wheel attachments are concealed to avoid prying baby fingers.

Perfect little toys for on the go! Though I did think they were like the bigger version that I have a few of. :( They are great and my son loves them! Think "matchbox cars" for toddlers!

We received these as a gift & LOVE them, absolutely love them. At first, I thought they were small compared to others cars/trucks we have, but turns out that is why they are so perfect. Toddlers love these. They are the perfect size for their hands. They can carry one in each hand & many times pick them all up at once.
I especially also like that they are the primary colors. They aren't strange colors & can help teach them their colors. They are so cute & work really well.
As BONUS, if you are a Thomas the train fan & own any of the wooden tracks we figured out these go on there really well. We bought the piece where they slide down from a hill through the door & we use these Tonka cars just as much as we use the wooden Thomas trains. The width of the wheels & height of them just happened to be perfect.
NOTE: I wanted to update my review. The Tonka set we have isn't specifically trains like this one. I don't know for sure if this particular set fits on the Thomas wood tracks. However, I would still DEFINITELY buy these as your little one's will love them. It doesn't matter if they fit on Thomas or not. I just wanted to follow-up. I would buy these no matter what - they are perfect!!!!!
I'd give these more than 5 stars if I could: they are cute, fun, educational w/ primary colors & compatible to use on the Thomas the Train wood track. And, they don't cost that much. Highly recommend.

I like the toy but when i read the dimensions i surely thought that they were going to be 3x6x7?!?!?! for 26.00$. I am VERY disappointed in the size of these i thought they were th big version! If i could find the receipt i would return them!

My grandson loves to chew on the engine plus all the other train cars. They are fun to push around, too.
