We purchased the previous design of this toy by Wild Planet for our then 5 year old. He has had so much fun tracking us and friends as we walk through the house. He was alerted when Daddy was through with his shower (bathroom door), when he went in to his closet to get dressed, and when he was on his way downstairs. I am considering getting this updated version. The sound on the base of the last one is no longer working, but the lights still work (spies need to be quiet!). Our son is now almost 7 and just used this at Thanksgiving to track Grandpa. Lots of fun.

"Discriminating Reader"
Although I haven't seen this toy in action, I gave one to each of my grand nephews ages 7 and 5 for their birthdays. Both of them loved it especially the 7 year old who said it was his favorite toy ever. Quite a testimonial!

This product is absolutely awesome! I use it to track my destructive dog, and my brother, and his annoying friends. It's also a great deal! On other websites it's at least $30! Great product for a great price. Amazon really knows how to keep people happy! :)

My 6 year old is all into "Spys" so he had to have this. I suppose it's fine I've had no complaints altho he's my grandson and he doesnt live with me.
